Many of the cities and towns in Oconee and Pickens counties will play host to fun and family friendly festivals this weekend. Gather up your family and friends and celebrate the 4th of July at one (or more) of these great events!

ClemsonFest – Clemson, SC

The 23rd Annual ClemsonFest will take place on Saturday, July 2nd at the Snow Family Outdoor Fitness and Wellness Center (formerly the Clemson Y Beach). Festivities start at 5:00 pm with the Carolina Coast Band taking the stage at 6:00 pm and the fireworks will start at 9:30. There is a children’s area with games and bouncy houses and plenty of food vendors! Admission is $5 per person on foot or $10 per carload. 4th Of July Spectacular – Easley, SC

The city of Easley will host the 2016 4th of July Spectacular from Saturday, July 2nd – Monday, July 4th in the Old Market Square. Saturday and Sunday’s events will go from 5:00-10:00 pm with live music and local talent performances. Monday’s celebration begins at 3:00 pm with live music, a carnival and, of course, fireworks! Hillbilly Day – Mountain Rest, SC

The 57th Annual Hillbilly Day will start at 9:00 am Monday, July 4th. This fun festival is a celebration of America – and the Appalachian Mountains, culture and crafts. The greased pig chase and greased pole climbing contest are sure to keep you entertained! They’ll have bluegrass music, a clogging contest, food vendors and more. Admission is free. 4th Of July Celebration – Pickens, SC

The City of Pickens will celebrate the 4th of July at the Amphitheater located in Historic Downtown Pickens. The event is from 7:00-10:00 pm with the Jake Bartley Band performing and fireworks. Admission is free. For more information check out Visit Pickens County.

Join the City of Seneca as they celebrate the 4th of July with Doug Norwine and The Catalinas on Monday. The show starts at 6:00 pm with fireworks at sunset. For more information visit the City of Seneca.

Independence Eve – Walhalla, SC

The 4th Annual Independence Eve will take place in Walhalla on Sunday, July 3rd at the Walhalla Soccer Field (Memorial Stadium). The event starts at 6:30 pm with the fireworks show set to start at dark. There will be games and activities for kids, live music and food. Admission is free.
