Jeff Merritt

M: 864-650-2204

Jeff Merritt comes from a family with a rich military background, his father a Marine serving in Vietnam, and his mother a retired Commander of the United States Navy with over 38 years of service. This allowed Jeff the opportunity to travel the world and experience many unique cultures and traditions at a young age. From Annapolis (MD), Guam, Beaufort(SC), Italy, New Orleans, Jacksonville(FL) to the great lakes of Michigan, Jeff has always found himself surrounded by water.

So it came as no surprise that after graduating with a degree in Business from Clemson University in 2008, he decided to make the lake area his home. Having graduated during the “Great Recession,” Jeff (as most graduates at that time) was faced with little-to- no job prospects. No stranger to hard work, Jeff his rolled up his sleeves and went to work at The Club at Keowee Key as a bartender, server and line cook. This work ethic combined with his passion for taking care of customers, he quickly rose to the position of Event Coordinator-Catering Manager. It’s with this passion for customer service that Jeff hopes to roll up his sleeves and get to work helping you with all your real estate needs!

In his spare time, when you can’t find Jeff enjoying all the lake has to offer with his family and friends, you may see him volunteering his time coaching basketball on the sidelines at Legacy Early College in Greenville, SC. Legacy Early College is progressive K-12 public charter school focused on improving the lives of socioeconomically disadvantaged children through education and fitness.

Having moved from location to location all over the world through the military lifestyle, Jeff understands and wants to remove the stress of buying/selling your home and turn it into a smooth and enjoyable experience. Give Jeff a call today so he can roll up his sleeves and get to work for you!!!
